STORYTIME
Storytime with Miss Helen begins again in February - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Please ask at the circulation desk after mid-January for the start-up date. Pre- registration for Storytime is required.
FOREST OF READING PROGRAM
This Ontario Library Association program is for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Registration is now open for this program showcasing Canadian authors and Canadian books. There are selected books to read and participants who read a minimum of 5 books in their category can vote for their favourite book. Voting Day will be held Thursday, April 22.
FAMILY LITERACY DAY
Deep River Public Library and FEN are joining forces for a special Family Literacy Day project on Saturday, January 30. Geared toward ages 3+ and with parental participation, we will be reading a special story and collecting and making items for "My Granny's Purse". Pre-registration is required. Sign up at the Library or at FEN.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
TUESDAY BRIDGE LESSONS - Lessons continue until January 26. Fee is $5.00 with refreshments.
WEDNESDAY SOCIAL BRIDGE - Continues at 1:30 p.m. in the Library program room. The fee for the afternoon is $5.00 and refreshments are provided.
