Felt a Beret with Fibre Artist Catharine Colotelo
The Deep River Library is proud to partner with the Deep River Weavers Guild for our second arts and crafts workshop. Join us on Monday November 21st from 1-5pm to make a cozy felt beret-style hat with fibre artist Catharine Colotelo. Students will learn the basics of felt making using a variety of wool roving. The workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced felt makers alike.
Materials, tea, coffee and snacks will be provided in the cost of the workshop. Participants are asked to make a suggested donation of $40, to the library to cover the cost of materials. Registrants will be contacted prior to the workshop with information on the equipment they need to bring along – nothing special, bits and bobs that you will be sure to have at home!
Maximum number of students: 8 (we will take information for a waitlist for repeat class for the New Year)
Please contact info@deepriverlibrary.ca or 613 584-4244 to reserve your space.
