In partnership with The Town of Deep River, we offer a variety of summer equipment to borrow for a six day loan period. Items available to borrow include golf clubs, children’s kick scooters, stand up paddle boards, a canoe, a kayak, and giant water mats.
Items go out on a Thursday 10am-8pm and must be returned by the following Tuesday 10am-8pm.
Items must be booked through the library by calling 613 584-4244 or emailing info@deepriverlibrary.ca. Bookings are limited to two weeks per household and waivers must be signed at the Deep River Library.
Golf clubs, scooters and giant water mats, paddles boards, a canoe and a kayak will be available starting June 27th to coincide with the opening of the Deep River Marina on June 28th. You are permitted to take your rental home or to use it during marina open hours (9am-8pm daily).
Hub items are available to borrow by patrons of the Deep River Public Library who have a local address (Deep River, Laurentian Hills, and the Townships of Head, Clara and Maria). Don’t have a card? No problem. They are free and easy to sign up for: Bring ID and proof of local address to the library information desk.
