Green Thumbs

Hosted by the Deep River & Area Horticultural Society in partnership with the Deep River public Library. A monthly event for kids to learn about gardening and the natural world while participating in hands-on activities.

10:30am-11:30am while supplies last

February 22: Plant pot painting

March 22: Plant a seed

April 12: Seed Bombs

 All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration on the program. This is a free drop in program, downstairs in the Deep River Library Program Room.

Spring story time

Join Ms. Robin every Tuesday at 10:30 for themed books, fun songs and rhymes and a creative craft. 

This is a free drop in program geared towards toddlers and preschoolers.

Join Ms. Robin every Wednesday at 1:30 pm for an interactive story time followed by playtime.

LEGO Club

Join us in the Children’s Areas for Lego Club every the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. It’s free and a drop-in program. Children 10 and under require adult supervision.
We will have Lego out for all ages, along with a theme and challenges.

STEAM Club

Join us  in the Children’s Area for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math)  club on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, 10:30am-2:30pm. It’s free and a drop-in program. Children under 10 require adult supervision.

We will have STEAM stations set up around the children’s area. There will be activities out for ages 3 and up.
