This summer we will be offering programming on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:15 am until 12:00 pm beginning on Tuesday, July 7th and ending Thursday, August 20th. This program is for kids ages 5 to 10, and those kids can expect to make some arts and crafts, enjoy read-alouds, play games, make new friends, and have some library time.

Week 1: July 7, 8, 9
Week 2: July 14, 15, 16
Week 3: July 21, 22, 23
Week 4: July 28, 29, 30
Week 5: August 4, 5, 6
Week 6: August 11, 12, 13
Week 7: August 18, 19, 20

When registering for your week, you are committing to attend the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday session of that week. We ask that parents stay in the building with children 7 years and younger. Participants can sign up for their week of choice either in person or via email at info@deepriverlibrary.ca or via phone at 613-584-4244. Registration opens June 10th at 10am.

We are also excited about the return of the TD Summer Reading Club! Participants will track their hours read, and once their tracking sheet is full they bring it to the library where it becomes a ballot in a draw to win a GIANT STUFFIE! To participate in the TD Summer Reading Club, please attend our kickoff party on THURSDAY, JULY 2ND from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm to receive your kit, or come by the library throughout the summer for more tracking sheets. Contest deadline is Wednesday, August 19th.
