Watercolour Painting with Artist Elaine Bisson
The Deep River Library is proud to present a 3 part watercolour workshop with artist Elaine Bisson.
Watercolours give you the opportunity to paint with expressiveness, colour, and depth. In this introductory workshop, Elaine will familiarize you with the materials used to create watercolour images. Explore how different brands and pigments vary in quality and application and then learn a range of techniques. Creating the right composition and perspective is a challenge for any visual artist. Elaine will discuss how she uses technology to transfer images from photo and sketch to paper. You will leave the course with small sample works and the knowledge needed to confidently select your own watercolour supplies and how to put your ideas to paper.
Who is this course for? This course is for anyone with an interest in building their knowledge of watercolour techniques.
Requirements and materials: No previous experience with watercolours is necessary. Materials will be provided during the workshop. A suggested donation $50 to the library will go towards covering materials and instruction.
