March Break

Who’s ready for March Break? WE ARE!

Monday March 10 and all week: Recycled city! 

Do you have a passion for building or tinkering? What about arts and crafts? We’ve got the perfect project for you! All We will be creating a Recycled City at the library for the whole week of March Break. All building materials will be provided, you only need your creativity to participate!

Monday March 10 @ 1pm: Movie Matinee: School of Rock

Get ready to rock this March Break! Join us at the library for a screening of School of Rock, the ultimate feel-good family film about a wannabe rockstar turned substitute teacher who inspires a class of misfits to find their inner rock stars.
This is a free program, no registration is required.

Tuesday March 11 @ 5:30pm: Family Art Club

Join is in the library for some fun with art supplies! Registration is not required. This is a free program, and open to all community members, while supplies last!

Wednesday March 12 @ 10:30am: Virtual Magical Science

Discover a magical force that will levitate particles, scatter light, and create illusions that will thrill! Experiment with colourful teas and unusual potions on this magical science adventure!
For ages 4-12. Adult participation and registration required.

Thursday March 13 @ 11am: Middle Grade Book Club

 Join us for our first ever meeting! We will be handing out 10 copies of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” which we will read (on our own) until our meeting in April. We will set our club rules, get to know each other a bit, and enjoy a pizza lunch. Parent/guardian participation is optional, but the more the merrier! This is a free program for children in grades 3-6, no registration is required, but a library card is required to borrow a copy of the book.
 

Friday March 14 @ 10:30am: Virtual Do it Like Da Vinci

Discover the joy of combining science and art! For ages 4-12, adult supervision and registration required.
